Missoni, an Italian luxury home, plans to enter the stock market in the next three years. This was reported in the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, which cites a comment by Missoni President Angela Missoni.
“We want to bring Missoni to the Milan Stock Exchange and are working on the structure of the company in order to achieve this goal,” says Angela Misoni. She did not disclose any more details regarding this initiative.
Last June, the Italian investment fund FSI (Fondo Strategico Italiano) acquired 41,2% of the group for 70 million euros. The aim of the transaction was to increase sales and expand the international expansion of the luxury brand. The Missoni family retained a stake in 58,8%. Missoni Fashion House was founded by Rosita and Ottavio Missoni in 1950.
