Dr. Martens and the Japanese brand Undercover have collaborated on a new capsule collection. The result was a collection of six-inch “martens” in unexpected colors - lavender, pale yellow and monochrome white.
A classic silhouette, sleek leather upper and co-branded tongue distinguish each pair. The lavender and pale yellow boots feature Dr. Martens signature contrast stitching on the outsole, while the white martens stays completely white except for the contrasting red heel tongue.
Dr. Martens and Undercover have similar DNA: the emphasis is on multi-functional shoes, as well as a commitment to street fashion and punk style, the brand said in a statement.
The brands have previously released a joint capsule called The New Warriors, which included boots and derbies, and was released last month. Undercover also collaborated with Converse to redesign the Chuck 70. But Undercover's most successful collaboration was the Nike collaboration with the 87 Nike React Element 2018 for men.
