In early August, Obuv Rossii opened its first Westfalika store in Arkhangelsk. In addition to opening four stores in the regional center in 2013-2014, the company plans to open Westfalika retail outlets in the satellite town of Arkhangelsk - Severodvinsk. Going to a small town is part of the horizontal development strategy. Also in the second half of 2013 the company will open two stores in the administrative center of the Komi Republic - Syktyvkar. Investments in opening one store amount to 10-12 million rubles.
The North-West Federal District is promising in terms of the development of shoe retail. In a number of regions (Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions, the Komi Republic, St. Petersburg), household incomes are above average. In recent years, there has been an increase in the share of federal and global shoe networks in the district, which indicates the attractiveness of the regional shoe market.

This year the company will open more than 60 stores throughout Russia. 32 new retail outlets have already been launched in the first half of 2013, and Obuv Rossii has entered 10 new cities. In total, investments in the development of the chain in 2013 will be 2,3 times higher than investments in opening stores in 2012 and will amount to 700 million rubles.
