The shoe and accessories brand ALBA is reconceptualizing the Russian chain of stores.
The new concept of ALBA salons corresponds to world trends in the interior design of the retail space and differs significantly in a concise and sophisticated design from stores of other brands operating in the medium and medium-high price segments, the company emphasizes.
The renovation of the salons presupposes a radically new arrangement of equipment, display of goods, and lighting in comparison with the existing stores. A distinctive feature of the renovated retail space is the abundance of light and thoughtfulness of every detail of the interior decor. The color scheme of the stores is designed in the colors familiar to the brand and includes the dominant white, as well as black and beige shades. The ALBA logo is unobtrusively embodied in the silhouette of the shoe racks.
The first trading platform to undergo changes was the ALBA boutique in the Mega-Khimki shopping center. By the end of 2012, it is planned to open two more salons in the updated format in the shopping center "Kaleidoscope" (Moscow) and in the shopping center "Mega" (Nizhny Novgorod).
“The project will be implemented in all stores of the chain within three years. Investments in a particular salon depend on the state of the retail space; the cost of a reconcept of one store is about 4,5 million rubles, ”says Sergey Kutumov, Development Director of ALBA.
All new stores of the network, and in 2013 it is planned to open 15 new stores, will be implemented according to new standards set by ALBA. The company’s analysts expect that the reconception strategy will provide an increase of 15-20% of turnover for the updated stores.
ALBA is a retail network of shoe salons and accessories, which today consists almost of 60 salons in 32 cities of Russia.
