Russian Post will deliver goods to marketplace warehouses in 75 cities of the country
The new Russian Post service - a delivery service to the warehouses of the largest online trading platforms operates in 75 cities of Russia, while the cost of the service is 20% lower than the market average, writes Retail.ru.
The service can be used by both sellers who transfer orders for storage, picking and sorting to the marketplace side using the FBO (Fulfillment By Operator) model, as well as those who store goods in their own or partner fulfillment warehouses using the FBS (Fulfillment by Seller) model. The seller can hand over the goods to the departments for corporate clients and sorting centers of the "Post" or call a courier who will pick up the goods.
The cost of the service depends on the weight of the cargo and the region of delivery. We accept goods in boxes and on pallets. The Russian Post will deliver the goods using its own transport, the fleet has about 16000 vehicles. "Post" provides sellers with a 30-day delay in payment for delivery, the opportunity to store goods in its warehouses for free for 15 days and choose a time interval for sending the goods.
