In general, the growth in footwear sales was in line with the general tendencies of increasing retail, associated primarily with the growth of the nominal income of the population and the subsequent rise in prices.
In the dynamics of retail sales of footwear in recent years, there has been a general trend that showed that sales in the first quarter are minimal, since they are mediated both by the general decline in purchasing activity of the population after the holidays and by the period of sales, which affects the value of the volume of retail trade. Starting from the 2nd quarter, during the rest of the year, sales increased, and their maximum volume fell on the 4th quarter, in which the most expensive winter and autumn shoes were in high demand.
