Sales in all Mega shopping centers grew by 2010% in 15

Sales in all Mega shopping centers, including all tenants and IKEA, grew in Russia in 2010 by 15% compared to 2009, RIA Novosti reports.

The company did not disclose absolute numbers. At the same time, the attendance of shopping centers increased by 2009% compared to the 11 year. According to the IKEA report, the net profit of the group of companies as a whole in the 2010 financial year (from September 1 September 2009 to August 31 2010 year) increased by 6,1% and amounted to 2,7 billion euros. Revenues for the 2010 financial year increased by 7,7% and amounted to 23,1 billion euros.

IKEA, the world's largest furniture and household goods retail chain, operates the 12 stores IKEA and 12 shopping centers Mega in Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk - all 9 regions of the country. The first IKEA store was opened in Russia in 2000 in the city of Khimki, Moscow Region.
