Westfalika Home sales accounted for 5% of Russian Shoe retail revenue

In August, Westfalika Home branded home goods sales accounted for 5% of Russia's Shoe retail sales.

The Westfalika Home project was launched in September 2014. From that moment, the sales volume totals 85 thousand household goods in the amount of 104 million rubles. In the 2015 year, Obuv Rossii will expand its Westfalika Home product line by 3 times and plans revenue in this area in the amount of 160 million rubles.

“July-August is a low season for shoe retail, when the remnants of the old collection are already sold out, and the new one is just beginning to go to stores. At the same time, household goods are not affected by the seasonal factor - they are bought at any time of the year. - Olga Danilova, the head of the related products department of GC Obuv Rossii, comments. “Therefore, the development of new product lines helps us smooth out seasonality and support sales and demand in the current economic situation.”

Recall that in May 2015, Obuv Rossii opened the first Westfalika Home specialized departments in flagship stores in Vladivostok and Yekaterinburg, and now the company equips Westfalika branded retail outlets with Westfalika Home branded zones.

The company intends to further develop the segment of household goods. At the end of August this year, a new Westfalika Home catalog was released, which presented a wider assortment and new product groups.

In August, Westfalika Home branded home goods sales accounted for 5% of Russia's Shoe retail sales.
