Mail.ru Group and My Com shared the results of a study on the characteristics of the interaction of Internet users with social networks. During the survey, a survey of 1200 Russian online users was conducted.
The study showed that about 66% of social network users actively subscribe to groups of different brands in order to learn about discounts (79%) and new products (74%).
At the same time, the highest conversion rate of advertising on social networks is for clothing and footwear brands. Advertising clothing and shoe brands are interesting to 44% of users surveyed.
Approximately 40% of users admitted that they made purchases of clothes, shoes and other fashion products after watching their ads on social networks.
The most effective way to convey information about a product to a consumer is through native advertising. Advertising articles and advertising messages in the feed, according to online users, attract attention and motivate purchases to a greater extent than banners.
