Lagerfeld Rubber Capsule

In the spring of 2013, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will present a capsule collection of bright rubber shoes made of melex - elastic plastic, which is hygienic and odorless. The project will be implemented in collaboration with the Brazilian brand Melissa.

Under the Melissa brand, mainly ballet shoes, boots, boots and sandals are made from this high-tech material. The company is also known for its collaboration with British designer Vivienne Westwood.

The company has already called the future capsule collection of Karl Lagerfeld “the most anticipated and loudest of all that was”. Under the contract, Karl Lagerfeld will design rubber shoes for Melissa over four seasons. The first collection will include four models for the fall 2013 season. Based on materials from Vogue.
