The online trading market will grow in 2011 by 30-40%

The Russian Internet trading market in 2011 can grow by 30-40%, said InSales CEO Timofey Gorshkov at a business forum on online retail in Russia. In 2010, the volume of this market, according to him, amounted to more than 180 billion rubles. However, this assessment, Gorshkov clarified, does not include such areas of online commerce as electronic tickets, message boards, software and digital content.

Most of the online sales, he said, come from home appliances and electronics, computers and components. According to Gorshkov, InSales expects sales to grow in the regions, as well as in such product categories as cosmetics and perfumery, children's and household goods, footwear and clothing. His opinion is confirmed by a study by the Public Opinion Foundation: in 2010, about 6 million Russians bought goods on the Internet for about 15 billion rubles a month.

In the TOP-30 Runet stores, according to Insalesincludes online clothing and shoe stores such as kupivip,ru, those.ru, eight.ru, Wildberries.ru, laredoute.ru, corporate shop.ru,club-salt.ru
