Inspiration of the new collection of the luxury brand Dior - Dior Amour was the love of designer Christian Dior for various talismans, writes WWD. Lucky charms, namely hearts, became the basis of the new collection, which will go on sale in China before the Tsiksi festival, which takes place on August 17 and is the Chinese equivalent of European Valentine's Day.
According to WWD, Christian Dior suffers from superstition and therefore always carries small talismans for good luck in his pockets, among them are a four-leaf clover, a piece of wood, a gold coin, a star and two hearts. This strange whim of the designer prompted Dior creative director Maria Grazia Curie to create a new Dior Amour collection. The collection will be sold at the Holt Renfrew store in Vancouver and at the pop-up store in the Yorkdale mall in Toronto, which will be open from 4 to 20 on August. In addition, a new collection will be presented in China from August 4, where it arrived specifically for Tsiksi Day, which is celebrated in China on August 17 and which is the Chinese equivalent of Valentine's Day.
The collection includes clothing starting at $ 970 (bomber jackets, knitted sweaters and skirts with hearts and J'aDior Amour inscription), shoes starting at $ 1,150 (black high-heeled shoes with a red heart print, sandals with embroidered lace-up sneakers multicolored hearts), handbags and jewelry. Prices for Lady Dior handbags start at $ 3400. Overhead patches in the form of hearts are attached to the bags, which allow you to personalize their design and create your only My Lady Dior bag.
