An amazing technology that will allow the creation of flexible electronics was invented by American material scientists from the University of Illinois and the University of Arizona. Thanks to their efforts, the technology of printing ultra-thin silicon strips on a flexible polymer appeared. How can this invention be useful to people? The gadget can literally be embedded inside a leather jacket, pants or other item of clothing, such as sneakers. This opportunity and interested in the company Reebok.

At the first stage, the innovators plan to launch on sale sneakers that will be equipped with sensors of human biological parameters. These smart shoes will detect pH, heart rate, blood pressure, metabolism and other factors, and then transmit the data wirelessly to the laptop.

Mostly, special sneakers with measuring sensors will be needed by athletes and their coaches, who will adjust the physical activity of their wards, observing the state of their health.
