Tamaris launches its own online store

Tamaris online store will decisively strengthen the brand image and its presence in European and other markets. Starting in September, the Tamaris Fall-Winter 2012 / 2013 collection will go on sale online in Germany and Austria at www.tamaris.de and www.tamaris.at. Other countries will follow. In the current fiscal year 2011 / 2012 (as of May 31 2012), the Wortmann group of companies expects a total trade turnover of 995 million euros. In the previous year, the company's turnover amounted to 957,7 million euros. With approximately 31 million pairs of fashion shoes and 27 million pairs for the comfort segment, the group of companies is one of the largest shoe manufacturing and marketing companies in Europe. The company offers brands such as Tamaris, Marco Tozzi, Caprice, Jana and s.Oliver-shoes, in Asia has its own representative office - Novi Footwear Fareast Ltd. Today, the holding employs more than a thousand employees around the world (930 - last year), of which about 582 - in Europe. More than 30 000 workers around the world are manufacturing shoes for a group of companies from the German city of Detmold. Wortmann holding shoes are successfully sold in more than 15 000 shoe stores located in 70 countries around the world.
