Labeling operator The Center for the Advancement of Advanced Technologies (CTCT) notes the increased activity of users of the Honest Sign application with the entry into force of the ban on the sale of unlabelled products (shoes, medicines and cigarettes) on July 1.
The company’s press release notes that in the first week of July, users of the Honest Sign special product labeling system application broke the record for scanning product codes — more than 1 million.
The most actively scanned marking codes on shoes - a total of 4 codes were scanned, and for the week from July 370 to July 060 thousand. In total, the “Honest Sign” application, which allows you to scan DataMatrix codes (they show the legitimacy of the goods), a bar code, a code from a check issued in a store, as well as symbols from tags and packages, was downloaded about 1 thousand times. When scanning Data Matrix codes on shoes, the application shows the name, article, manufacturer, country of manufacture, materials of the top, bottom, lining, color, size.
