In 2010, compared to 2009, the import of footwear in Belarus increased. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Bellegprom concern Lyudmila Tyaglova. This tendency is associated with the creation on January 1, 2010 of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. Since that time, import duties on shoes have decreased compared to duties previously established in Belarus. “Three countries coordinated their positions with duties due to the fact that the shoe industry was poorly developed in Kazakhstan and there was a zero import customs duty, in Russia - 10%, in Belarus - 15%. Now for all countries there is a single customs rate - 10% ”, - L. Tyaglova explained.
At the same time, she noted that in 2010, shoe enterprises, which are part of the concern, produced about 12 million pairs of shoes, which is 3 million pairs more than in 2009.Rating |
