On June 9-11, Moscow will host an exhibition of Brazilian shoe manufacturers. The event is held as part of the program Brazilian Footwear, organized by the Brazilian footwear industry association Abicalçados in collaboration with the Brazilian export and investment promotion agency Apex Brazil. Her the goals are to consolidate new markets and support the Brazilian brand so that it is associated with quality, reliability, innovation, modernity and flexibility.
Brazilian Footwear has been around for over 10 years. Russia has recently become one of the export markets for Brazilian footwear manufacturers. In the last four years alone (2009-2013), the export of Brazilian footwear to the Russian market has grown to 173% (in US dollars) and by 30% in terms of the volume of exported goods.
