Prices for commercial real estate in Omsk over the past year have grown by 10-20%. This was stated by the director of the department of the city economic administration of Omsk Sergey Sindeev at the VIII International Exhibition of Commercial Real Estate REX-2011. The greatest demand in the city is for retail real estate, in second place is warehouse premises, in third - office real estate.
Deputy Head of the Yekaterinburg Administration Viktor Konteev made a presentation of the capital of the Urals. He noted that the format of the shopping center is one of the most popular in the local market and it accounts for 46% of all commercial space in the city. In contrast, there is an acute shortage of warehouse real estate. Positive dynamics is present in the hotel segment: over the past five years, the number of hotels has tripled. The construction of business centers is proceeding at a good pace: this year eight new facilities are being commissioned.
Experts of the Asset Management Group believe that in the post-crisis situation in the world the struggle for investments has intensified and that Russia should not rely on Western capital. At the same time, in the segment of commercial properties, foreign investors are more interested in shopping malls, office and warehouse real estate.
