“In February 2022, more than 500 Russian enterprises produced 11,5 million pairs of shoes. In March, this figure exceeded 13,2 million, an increase of 14%. At the same time, 15 million pairs of shoes worth 29,9 billion rubles were sold in February, and in March, Russians bought 20 million pairs of shoes worth 46,8 billion rubles.
It is also noted that against the background of statements about the withdrawal of a number of foreign companies from Russia, the dynamics of production growth of some domestic enterprises exceeded 900%.
