VotONYA, a St. Petersburg chain of small-format children's goods stores (150-300 square meters), is going to open its first stores in Moscow in the fall of 2021. The company plans to increase the number of retail outlets in the capital to 145.
The VotONYA children's goods retail network has existed since 2012 and currently comprises 65 stores in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The retailer's online store delivers goods throughout the country. VotONYA stores offer a wide range of children's goods, including consumer goods, clothing and footwear. The retailer is going to occupy a relatively free niche of small-format children's retail in the capital. It is noted that 90% of the retail market for children's goods in Moscow is occupied by 4 retail chains with an average store area of about 1000 sq. meters.
