On August 5, a meeting is planned on the construction of a shoe cluster in the Novosibirsk Region, a joint Russian-Italian project that is being implemented with the participation of Mac Senior, an Italian investor. The meeting will be led by First Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vladimir Znatkov, it will discuss the roadmap of the project and a place for the construction of the enterprise.
At present, an analysis of the possibilities of building a cluster in the working settlement of Linevo, Iskitimsky district, has been carried out. According to the concept of the project, the cluster will include about 15 factories with a full production cycle - from leather processing and manufacturing of components to the production of footwear and leather goods. The estimated total production of footwear should be over 2,5 million pairs per year. According to preliminary estimates, investments in the project will amount to about 80 million euros, the implementation period is 3-5 years.
