According to the results of the 1 quarter of the 2019 of the year, Obuv Rossii Group noted an increase in revenue by 13,1% year-on-year to 2,56 billion rubles. The holding's net profit increased by 161,8% - up to 217 mln rubles, compared to 83 mln rubles. in the 1 quarter of 2018 of the year.

The main growth drivers, according to the director of Obuv Rossii Group of Companies Anton Titov, are the full capacity of stores opened at 2018 and positive like-for-like, which amounted to 2,1%.

The growth in comparable sales was affected by an increase in the average bill by 1,8%, which was due to the diversification of the range and services at the company's outlets and the development of the clothing sector. The group continued to implement the investment program and, in the first three months of 2019, opened 42 new stores of its own. Thus, at the end of the first quarter, the company's retail network consisted of 756 outlets, including 167 franchised ones, in 270 cities of Russia.

The growth in the main indicators of Shoe of Russia is positively affected by growth in the direction of e-commerce. In the 1 quarter of 2019, the company's online sales increased by 42%, their share in retail revenue was 14%.

“We have improved the balance control system in our online stores, began to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns based on profitability indicators, and introduced new promotion channels. As a result, the conversion to orders in the first quarter of 2019 doubled. In the 1 quarter, Obuv Rossii significantly increased its performance indicators: EBITDA increased by 77,5%, net profit increased by 2,6 times, which was made possible thanks to the relocation of some stores to more passable places, lower rental costs and a significant increase in comparable issuance of cash loans - by 26,3%, and, as a result, to interest income in this direction, ”comments Anton Titov.

In the coming 2-3 years, the group is going to actively go out with its retail to small towns. This allows the company to increase its share in regional markets and quickly bring outlets to the planned sales figures. In general, in 2019, the group intends to open 150 stores mainly in cities with populations from 15 to 250 thousand residents. The bulk of the new outlets will work before the start of the fall-winter season.

The company operates 7948 stores (167 operates under a franchise) under the brands Westfalika, Pedestrian, Rossita, Emilia Estra and Lisette, and also develops shoes and clothing brands for an active lifestyle S-tep, all.go and Snow Guard and owns two shoe stores factories in the Novosibirsk region. In accordance with the audited financial results of the Group according to IFRS, in 2018 the revenue amounted to 11,55 billion rubles, net profit - 1,33 billion rubles, EBITDA - 2,86 billion rubles.
