Wildberries notes increased demand for led access

Due to the freezing rains and ice that hit Russia in the last week, there is an increased demand for ice access on the site of the largest Russian online retailer Wildberries. 

According to Wildberries analytics, from November 16 to November 22, 2022, the number of led access orders - special anti-slip studded shoe linings increased 4 times compared to the beginning of the month, from November 1 to November 7, 2022. 

The most popular models are rubber shoe covers with 6 - 8 stainless steel spikes that cost about 400 - 500 rubles. The most advanced users, probably practicing long winter walks, choose climbing crampons - metal devices with massive spikes and spend from 1 rubles on their purchase.

First of all, the inhabitants of the Central Federal District were hit by the elements - the most actively stocking anti-slip equipment is in the Moscow region (an increase in the number of orders for ice drifts by 12 times), as well as the Kursk (47 times) and Voronezh (37 times) regions.

 Wildberries is the largest online retailer in Russia, operating on the market for 18 years. The geography of the company's presence covers all regions of Russia, as well as a number of foreign countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc. The turnover of Wildberries in 2021 increased by 93% and reached 844 billion rubles, and in the 1st half of 2022 it amounted to 628,7 billion rubles. (+94%). Every day, 7 million orders are placed on Wildberries, the monthly audience is over 130 million users (MAU).

 

As of November 2022, about 1 million entrepreneurs sell their goods through Wildberries. The Wildberries range includes products from 600 Russian and foreign brands: clothing and footwear, accessories, beauty products, children's products, appliances and electronics, household goods, jewelry, food, books, digital goods and much more.
