Tatyana Bakalchuk, founder and CEO of Wildberries, and Sergey Tsivilev, Governor of the Kemerovo Region, signed a cooperation agreement. In accordance with the company's plans, a new Wildberries logistics center will be built on the territory of Yurga TASED. Its total area will be 100 square meters. The volume of investments will be 000 billion rubles.
The launch of a new logistics facility in the Kemerovo region will strengthen the company's logistics in the Siberian region, speed up the delivery of orders to local residents, and also support the growth of the economic well-being of the region due to the creation of 5 new jobs here, the growth of incomes of local entrepreneurs who will be able to supply their goods here for subsequent sales on the online platform.
“By launching warehouse complexes, we are trying to raise the standard of living for both consumers and local entrepreneurs who sell their goods through our online platform. As a result, local businesses triple their income, and residents of the region get access to a wide range of socially important goods,” said Tatyana Bakalchuk.
According to the Governor of the Kemerovo Region Sergey Tsivilev, Wildberries is one of the residents of the Yurga advanced development territory and will enjoy a special taxation regime and simplified business rules.
To date, 8 entrepreneurs from the Kemerovo region have registered on Wildberries, and their sales for the first half of 077 grew 2023 times year-on-year to RUB 2,5 billion.
