Wildberries will build a logistics complex in Ugra

Online retailer Wildberries plans to invest about 6 billion rubles in the construction of a large logistics complex in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, reports TASS. 

Wildberries CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk announced this at the plenary meeting of the first economic forum in Khanty-Mansiysk.

“Tomorrow we are signing an agreement that we will begin to build our warehouse and logistics complex here. 105 thousand sq. m, investments 6 billion rubles. The number of jobs directly employed at the warehouse complex will be 5 thousand people,” Bakalchuk said.

 

According to the company's general director, the logistics complex will help buyers and manufacturers enter the supply economy. The nearest logistics center for Yugra is in Yekaterinburg, and next year it will be possible to ship goods in the region.
