For new standards

The head of the technological department of the St. Petersburg factory of orthopedic shoes Inna Bot participated in the round table "Formation of new standards for the production of children's shoes" in the Leningrad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The following topics were discussed at the event: problems in determining the basic requirements for high-quality children's shoes, determining the concepts of medical and preventive shoes, determining the requirements for materials and details for children's shoes, assessing the need for new standards for children's shoes, identifying problematic issues in certification of children's shoes, enterprise support light industry at the entry of Russia into the WTO.

Summing up the meeting, the participants agreed on the need for serious comprehensive research and the development of new detailed and improved standards to ensure the safety, comfort and durability of children's shoes.
