The weaving trend in shoe design has proven to be relevant not only for sandals and shoes, but also for sneakers.
In March of this year, sneakers with a woven upper appeared in a collaboration sacai x Nike Waffle Woven. Following this, a woven version of the Air Jordan 1 High came out this year as part of Union LA's streetwear collaboration with Jordan Brand. And now, Nike's new pair of woven uppers, the Air Footscape Woven, is about to hit the shelves in the 2000s.
They last went on sale in 2018. The new pair of Nike Air Footscape Woven will be available in Black/Smoky Grey. The upper part of the sneaker is covered with black faux fur with a characteristic "smoky gray" weave from toe to heel. The asymmetrical lacing system also includes matching gray laces that are paired with embroidered branding on the tongue and heel. A white midsole is set on a "smoky gray" rubber outsole. The price of a pair of sneakers, which will appear in Nike retail in the coming months, is $150.
