The Chinese online retail giant Alibaba Group has opened an official representative office in Russia.
“Alibaba Group has established a new company in Russia with the aim of further expanding our business and supporting partners, as well as to facilitate interaction with Russian government agencies,” said Mark Zavadsky, Business Development Director of AliExpress (Alibaba's largest project) in Russia and the CIS, and now also the general director of the Russian representative office.
