Burberry acquires leather factory in Italy

British fashion house Burberry has announced the purchase of the Italian tannery CF&P, which has been producing the brand's products for over a decade, writes WWD.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The CF&P factory is located near Florence and specializes in the design and manufacture of luxury handbags and accessories.

With the acquisition of the company, the fashion house will be able to control the entire production process. He plans to expand the category of handbags and accessories made of genuine leather.
