Converse has released a collaboration with Korean skate shop Kasina and updated one of its signature Weapon high-top sneakers.
The updated Weapon features a white full-grain leather upper with green and navy blue accents and perforated toe caps. The $140 lace-up style features a sleek white rubber outsole. Vibrant green panels on the tongue add a fresh note to the design, but the highlight is the hand-drawn pencil lines and "1997" lettering.
These details essentially pay homage to the design first used by Kasina founder Eunhyuk Lee when he created the brand's first store twenty-six years ago.
The design retains Converse's signature arrow and star logo, which are presented in blue on the left half pair of sneakers and green on the right.
The updated Weapon sneakers from the Converse & Kasina collaboration are already presented on the American brand’s website.
