Euro Shoes Premiere Collection: demand forecast for next winter

The geography of visitors to the presentation of Western European brands Euro Shoes Premiere Collection this season coincided with the borders of the Russian Federation - from St. Petersburg to Nakhodka. Among the guests of the exhibition were buyers with many years of experience and those who only planned to open a shoe store.

There are a lot of people who want to enter the shoe business even despite the fact that, according to the exhibitors, the Autumn-Winter 2011 / 2012 season promises to be difficult. On the one hand, selling prices for European companies increased - due to the rising cost of labor, due to an increase in the prices of raw leather and lining for fur. On the other hand, in the Autumn-Winter 2009 / 2010 season, shoe companies entered immediately with selling prices and worked practically “to zero”, the Spring-Summer 2010 collections were sold with minimal profit, the results of the current season are still unclear. Many regional stores have large leftovers - which is why they carefully place pre-orders.

Traditionally, the southern regions even in the autumn-winter season prefer to order bright shoes with an abundance of accessories, the northern regions pay more attention to comfortable shoes.

Debutants highlighted not only the wide geography, but also the professionalism of buyers coming to the presentation.

Presentation Euro Shoes Premiere Collection takes place in the Sokolniki eco-center on February 23-26, in the 4 and 4.1 pavilions
