As noted in the company itself, 2013 year was marked by the modernization of production. At the beginning of the year, a new molding unit was installed for the manufacture of soles, equipment for the production of moccasins, a cutting complex of Italian production, as well as equipment for making voluminous colors of leather for finishing and decorating shoes.
More than 10 million rubles were invested in the opening of a new billet flow at the Unicel-Zlato factory in Zlatoust. Premises prepared, equipment purchased and installed, repairs made. To ensure the work of the stream, more than 50 pieces of equipment were purchased and 35 new jobs were opened.
The new equipment allowed not only to improve the quality of the produced models, but also to launch new ones. So, in March, the first moccasins came off the assembly line of the factory. In September, a new style of children's rubber boots, women's and children's boots was launched into production.
Also, 2013 allowed Unicel to expand the geography of its presence. 43 new brand stores were opened in Russia, including in new regions - Murmansk, Tomsk, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.
At the end of the year, a new logistics center with an area of 10 sq m was put into operation. The first floor is intended for receiving and storing materials and components for the production of footwear - leather, fur, soles. The remaining four will store finished products for transportation to the regions.
