The presentation of the new collection of the Italian brand Geox spring-summer 2018 / 19 was held in Moscow. The leitmotif of the collection was a new style in the design of women's shoes of the brand, which was acquired as a result of the collaboration of Geox with Italian designer Ernesto Esposito.
For the first time, the brand presented a collection created in collaboration with Esposito in the autumn-winter season 2017. The collaboration resulted in a collection of velvet shoes, ankle boots, over the knee boots and even sneakers that looked very elegant, including by decorating shoes with rivets, shiny rhinestones and stones. A very feminine high-heeled shoes appeared in the collection - this has become a new direction for the brand, which until now has focused on the production of convenient, comfortable shoes with a more athletic style.
In the new season, Ernesto Esposito, whose track record has worked with brands such as Sergio Rossi, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, has significantly expanded his influence on Geox. In addition to the capsule collection "Mexico", which presents brightly colored feminine models of sandals, mules, espadrilles created under the guidance of this designer, many models of a more feminine style also appeared in the main collection of the brand.
According to the brand, the first collaboration with Esposito was very successful. Models in the new style were very popular, and the brand decided to change the stylistic direction of its female line.
However, despite the changes in the design of shoes, Geox does not forget about its strength - the use of unique technologies that allow you to create shoes that "breathe". The branded “breathing membrane” Geox sewn into the sole is an important element of the collection, both in the case of sports-style shoes, as well as in the case of women's sandals, men's classic shoes.
Geox brand appeared in Italy, is represented all over the world: more than 70% of the income comes from 110 of foreign countries. In Russia, GEOX branded retail accounts for about 60 stores; in addition, shoes and clothes of the Italian brand are represented in more than 200 multi-brand stores.
