Russian Leather Group is building a plant in Altai

The Russian Leather Group, part of the FPK Invest, announced the start of construction of a production site in the Altai Territory - the Zarinsky Tannery RK-Altai.

The new plant will focus on the processing of cattle leathers, as well as pork and sheep leathers. The tanning materials produced at the new enterprise will be used for the manufacture of leather for shoes, furniture, automotive interiors and other industries.

Construction work on the construction of a new plant in the Altai Territory began in October 2015 and will be completed in December 2017. The planned volume of processing of the enterprise is 600 tons of raw materials per month. The volume of production of leather materials is 100 thousand square meters. per month. According to preliminary estimates, the number of employees in the new at the new enterprise will be 200 people.

Representatives of the group of companies note that the implementation of this project will ensure the processing of cattle, pig, goat and sheep leathers not only in the volume of the region’s existing raw materials, but also with the prospect of developing the livestock industry until 2025.

“We have high hopes that the construction of the plant will give an incentive to the comprehensive development of agricultural and light industries in the region (footwear, clothing, haberdashery) and will attract additional investors and industrialists to the region,” commented the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPK Invest Galina Trushina.

Today, Russian leather Group of Companies produces all kinds of genuine leathers - for shoes, clothes, haberdashery, furniture. Ryazan Tannery is also a supplier of leather materials for the needs of the defense industry, law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation and for the production of personal protective equipment.

Russian Leather Group of Companies is an association of seven manufacturing enterprises, the main of which is the Ryazan Tannery with a full cycle of processing from raw leathers to the manufacture of leather goods. The holding also includes enterprises specializing in working with foreign markets, organizing after-sales services, as well as factories in Spain and China. The last major projects of the holding were the organization of the production of leather for automobile interiors, as well as leather for aviation.

The Russian Leather Group, in turn, is part of the FPK Invest, which also manages the industrial company Tochinvest, a manufacturer of metal structures for road and infrastructure construction, and the Teplopribor company, which designs and manufactures high-precision measuring instruments for the energy sector, oil and gas, chemical and processing industries, for nuclear facilities, rocket technology, navy.
