Italian Industry Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti announced the possible reopening of exhibitions in Italy from July 2021. Events are currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Italian government has confirmed the existence of grants to support the exhibition industry totaling 400 million euros. However, the funds must be approved by the national parliament.
The announcement of the resumption of exhibition activity was made due to the fact that the government plans to ease quarantine restrictions from April 26.
