In early July, "Mila - Wholesale Shoes" reported a decline in the interest of retail stores in wholesale school shoes, as the sales results for this group were inferior to last year. Today the situation has changed radically. As of July 22, 2012, the total increase in the “School” collection was 10% in relation to the volumes of the same period in 2011. In particular, the sales of TM "Kotofey" grew by 75% and by 27% of "Paris Commune". This ratio is explained by the departure from Mila's assortment of the Original Kids and Jungle brands.
“For the past two weeks, the market has been peaking in wholesale school shoe sales and fully confirms our assumption of delayed demand. Almost all of Mila's partners have stocked up and are waiting for the start of the season, which may also be characterized by some delay in buying activity. So if last year the consumer went to shops for school shoes in the second half of July, then this year it should be expected around the beginning of August, "said the manager of Mila - wholesale footwear" Alexander Borodin.
