The revived Soviet brand Two Ball sneakers was among the brands of Russian designers presented in the new conceptual space Section in the Moscow department store GUM.
The “Section” space, where exclusively Russian-made designers' clothes will be presented, will begin work in the capital's GUM department store on 4 in October. The store will be located on two floors of the famous department store and, in addition to Two Balls, will present designer brands such as Heart of Moscow, ZDDZ, Outlaw Moscow, Chapurin and others.
Opening such a concept store, GUM managers take a step towards Russian designers who get the opportunity to show their goods to visitors to one of the most prestigious department stores in the capital. At the same time, the department store does not remain aloof from fashion trends. In recent years, the world podium has experienced a new wave of passion for design "native to Russia." One striking example of this is the success of Russian designer Gosha Rubchinsky, collaborating with the Comme des Garçons brand.
