The China Leather Industry Association and the Belarusian State Light Industry Agency have signed a cooperation agreement to develop bilateral leather trade between the two countries, writes Worldfootwear.com.
During the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), representatives of the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) and the Belarusian State Light Industry Agency met on August 30 at the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai to sign a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral trade in the leather sector between the two countries.
In particular, the memorandum was signed by Vice President of the National Council of Light Industry of China, President of CLIA Li Yuzhong and President of the Belarusian Light Industry Agency Tatyana Lukhina. Every year, Belarus exports more than $4 million worth of products to China, mainly semi-finished leather and fur products, while China exports mainly bags and shoes.
This agreement marks another step in 30 years of cooperation between China and Belarus.
