Kotofey wants to grow up

The Yegoryevsk-footwear factory decided to produce felt boots for adults under a separate brand. In this regard, a competition was announced for the development of the name and logo. Acceptance of works will last until December 20 2013 of the year, and a very generous cash prize awaits the winner.

“The realization of the fact that buyers of adult and children's footwear are two target audiences that require a completely different approach led Egorievsk-Obuv to the need to withdraw adult footwear from the Kotofey children's trademark. - commented the manager of "Mila" - wholesale shoes "Alexander Borodin. - So, in the winter of 2013, 50 thousand pairs of children's boots were sold in bulk against only 630 adults. The difference is significant. The one hundredfold superiority in sales of children's footwear can be easily explained: the overwhelming majority of Mila's customers are the owners of children's retail stores. We simply do not have partners who are planning to purchase adult footwear. Today "Yegoryevsk-Obuv" is taking the first step towards a new target audience - it is developing another brand, for the development and establishment of which further work will be required to find buyers - distributors ”.
