Louis Vuitton creative director Kim Jones leaves fashion house

Kim Jones leaves Louis Vuitton after showing the fall 2018 collection on Thursday in Paris.

Jones has been Creative Director at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton since 2011. It was under his leadership that the famous collaboration with Supreme, as well as with the British conceptual artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, was launched.

“Working with Kim was a great success,” said Vuitton CEO Mark Burke. Which especially appreciated the designer’s ability to set trends, as well as his talent and determination. “We all who were fortunate enough to work with Kim, wish him success in his next project.”

Louis Vuitton has not yet revealed who will succeed Jones as creative director. Nothing is known about Kim Jones's future plans either. In September, WWD announced that Jones could move to Versace fashion house.
