According to the Shoes Report, in connection with the developing coronavirus epidemic around the world, Turkey’s largest international footwear exhibition Aymod, which was announced to be held from 1 to 4 April in Istanbul at the IstanbulCNR Expo, will not take place.
While there is no official announcement of the cancellation of the event on the exhibition website, but it is expected in the coming hours. Buyers planning to attend the exhibition and other professionals in the shoe industry and retail are already selling air tickets to Istanbul.
Meanwhile, Aymod organizers announced on their website that at the 63th Aymod exhibition in April of this year, about 25000 buyers from different countries of the world are expected, including Russia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Libya, France, Croatia, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Romania and Ukraine.
