On June 6, 2012, at the annual meeting of the Russian retail elite, the results of the INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 rating of the largest retail chains will be announced at Lotte Hotel Moscow. The rating in 2011 became the most quoted and authoritative source of information on the development of all segments of the retail chain (FMCG, household appliances and electronics, DIY, fashion, etc.) and the positions of leading companies.
The organizers of INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 Day - IA INFOLine and ID Retailer - when compiling a joint rating, selected the 100 strongest companies from 1000 retail chains according to the following criteria: chain revenue at the end of 2011 (in rubles), number of stores (in pieces), growth in retail areas at the end of 2011 (in sq. m) and LFL (in percent).
What is the dynamics of development of the largest retailers in Russia? Will new international players come to Russia? What are the specifics of retail development in the regions of Russia? What new retail formats will the largest retailers develop? What should the consumer expect - the opening of hypermarkets or specialty convenience stores? Which company will be named "Growth Leader" (maximum annual revenue and selling space growth rates are estimated), "Strong Regionals", "National Leader in its Market Segment", "Investment Leader"? Several days are left until the answers to these questions and the announcement of the rating results.
The annual INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 Day will bring together the owners and top managers of Russian retail to sum up the results for 2011 and outline the prospects for 2012, writes malls.ru.
