Who will speak at the 7th World Shoe Congress in Istanbul

The World Shoe Congress, which will be held in Istanbul at the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent Hotel on November 8 and 9, will address the most pressing topics that concern the development of the footwear industry today. Under the general thematic title “Changing the Future”, congress speakers will discuss new business solutions, sustainable development and circularity, as well as the future of work.

Miguel Pomares, head of footwear at Spanish company Ecoalf, will share his 20 years of experience in shoe manufacturing and innovation. Yuxiang Yang, an innovator from Li-Brand Ning, will talk about the market and the experience of introducing innovations in the sports shoe industry.

The future of work in the industry will be discussed by Genaro Pigliacampo, CEO of Calzaturificio Gensi Group, a company that prioritizes investment in highly qualified personnel to meet new production needs, and Clémentine Colin Richard, Corporate Director of the French company Paraboot.
