Lamoda Acquires Pick-up.ru and Expands Distribution Point Network

At the end of December, the online platform for the sale of fashionable goods Lamoda bought a network of points of delivery of orders from its partner - Pick-up.ru, - Vedomosti writes.

As a result of the transaction, the Internet retailer received 56 points of distribution of goods located in the sleeping areas of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Lamoda pick-up chain has grown to 112 locations.

Pick-up.ru was founded in 2014 by the entrepreneur Sergei Kutsenko, who was previously the CEO of Modny Kontinet developing a Incity fashion chain store. According to Kutsenko, in 2017, he faced the choice of further development of Pick-up.ru: to attract a financial partner through an additional issue or to sell the entire business. As a result, the company was sold to Lamoda.
