On September 12th, Levi's stores around the world will launch a collection of five handmade women's leather bags L-Bag. The brand's first premium line of bags is dedicated to Levi's first women's jeans collection, launched in 1934.
Bags are made in Verona (Italy), at the LCB factory, which has long been a partner of the brand in working with premium lines. They are made of high quality leather; Levi's brand on the bags is made of yellow brass.
According to a Levi's press release, leather is part of the brand’s DNA. Levi Strauss started his business as a haberdasher in San Francisco, selling leather boots, belts and gloves to farmers and miners back at 1853, twenty years before the start of denim clothing production.
The L-Bag line includes models such as a waist bag, L Belt Bag; saddle bag, L Saddle Bag, in two colors and L Mini Saddle Bag; crossbody bag, L Cross Body; and tote bag, L Tote Bag. Each line model has one more reference to Levi's® cult red tabu - the lining of the pocket on the inside is made in red.
In Russia, the collection will be available in limited quantities in the brand’s store in the Evropeisky shopping center, the corner in the Tsvetnoy department store and on the brand’s website.
