Luxury brand of handbags and accessories Coach returns to Russia

Coach, an American luxury brand of handbags and accessories, is returning to the Russian market, the company has signed an exclusive agreement with the Russian BNS Group, which manages the Russian retailer Klein, Michael Kors, Topshop and others, writes RNS.

The BNS Group has signed an agreement with the brand for a period of 5 years with the possibility of further extension. Under the terms of the contract, in 2018–2023, the BNS Group will open at least four Coach stores in Russia.

The American manufacturer of bags and accessories Coach in 2008 began the development of its retail in Russia in partnership with Jamilco, the agreement was signed for 5 years, according to the document, the company was supposed to open 15 brand stores during this period. However, Coach stores were closed in 2011. Today, the brand’s products are presented in two multi-brand stores in the Central Department Store of the Central Department Store, with which Coach works directly, but there are currently no branded stores in Russia.
