The Footwear News Achievement Awards Winners Named

The Footwear News Achievement Awards has once again marked the best in their field.

This year's ceremony helped to explore all corners of the market around the world and give a clear definition of the future direction of the shoe industry.

Opening the list of Man of the Year winners is Calvin Planck, who created Speedform sneakers and a $ 3 million empire. The Skechers brand, which caused a lot of buzz in the industry, received the Company of the Year award. They achieved amazing sales thanks to new product launches and good marketing.

A living legend, Giuseppe Zanotti, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of the brand, proved that some things work better with age. Designer of the Year still continues to surprise customers with unexpected ideas.

As for market giant Jimmy Choo, the brand won the Newsmaker of the Year nomination. The Stuart Weitzman brand has been named the best-selling. A line of Sarah-Jessica Parker women's shoes was also highlighted. Novelty of the award - the “Shoes of the Year” award highlighted the must-have of this season's white Adidas sneakers, 100.000 pairs of which were sold only in the United States. As noted by Michael Atmour, editor-in-chief of FN, the award “showed the best” that exists in the shoe industry today.
