In May of this year, the Novosibirsk group of companies Obuv Rossii, whose retail network includes 581 store in 168 cities of Russia, plans to launch a mobile application of its retail network Rossita, for iOS and Android platforms. A similar mobile application of another retail holding, the Westfalika shoe network, was launched by the group back in 2014.
The retailer notes the steady growth in the share of the mobile audience of its online stores. So in the first quarter of 2018, this share increased by 11% and amounted to 53%. On the whole, the share of online commerce in the retail revenue of Obuv Rossii Group reached 13,4%.
GC "Shoes of Russia" founded in 2003 year, has a headquarters in Novosibirsk and an office in Moscow. The main business area is the production and sale of footwear and related products. The company operates an 581 store (113 operates under a franchise) under the brands Westfalika (a single-brand shoe store), Pedestrian (a multi-brand shoe supermarket), Rossita (a store for the whole family), Emilia Estra and Lisette (fashion shoe stores), and also develops brands of shoes and clothes for an active lifestyle S-tep, All.go and Snow Guard and owns two shoe factories in the Novosibirsk region.
