Shoemakers in Italy named the main trends of next summer

The Milan shoe exhibition Micam Shoevent traditionally presented to the specialists the collections of the coming spring-summer 2012 season. The National Association of Italian Shoe Manufacturers - ANCI, uniting and coordinating the activities of more than 800 manufacturing companies of leading shoe brands, summed up the exhibition.

The results of Micam Shoevent were announced by the new President of ANCI Cleto Sagripanti: “This season 42,385 guests attended the exhibition, including 20,967 foreign buyers. I am more than satisfied with the results, the number of visitors and buyers is growing - the pride of Italy is growing, the leitmotif of our exhibition is increasing and the value of Made in Italy products is increasing. From September 18 to September 21, 1595 participating companies presented their collections for the spring-summer 2012 season at an exhibition area of 70 thousand square meters. "

Among the events that Micam annually pleases the public with, the Micam Point area for connoisseurs of luxury shoes has become especially interesting. Here you could try on shoes from the best Italian designers, measure the parameters of your feet, get advice from an orthopedist, chat with fashion bloggers from all over the world, meet women who have changed Italian fashion - Cristina Brigidini, Barbara Vitti and Juliana Parabiago.

Regarding the trends of the upcoming season, ANCI identified the following trends.

Contemporary basic - modernity expressed in minimalism. Complicated footwear inspired by urban architecture. These are asymmetric lines, broken lines, shoes with medium or small heels. Especially relevant is white on white, transparent pastel tones are shaded with fruorescent brightness.

Flamboyant is a shoe based on a compromise between vintage and pop art. There are excessive volumes and heels in the spirit of Louis XVI, many colors - antique pink, yellowish, beige or aged blue with shades of emerald green, acid-lemon, bubble pink and electro blue. Fancy decorated heels and rounded shapes will be in fashion.

Daily nomads - the mood of this trend is inspired by the inhabitants of bohemian areas of old Europe, they choose comfort and ascetic elegance. In this trend, all shades of brown are recognized as the new black. Favorite colors are pinkish beige, ash, aged and oxidized red, the color of dried bamboo. An accent on expensive leather, favorite models are sandals, clogs, moccasins.

Blondinki became the muses of Italian designers. Colors are white and blue with a glow effect, coral red, emerald green, steel color, navy blue and neutral cowhide color. As for materials, here designers gave vent to imagination and used the leather of exotic reptiles, materials with a mirror effect, gallograms and gold plating.
