From July 1, 2020, the labeling of tobacco, shoes and medicines in Russia becomes mandatory. On June 10, the software development company SKB Kontur held an online conference entitled “Mandatory product labeling: how to prepare for changes and implement them.”
The virtual conference brought together about 2 participants. Among the speakers at the event were SKB Kontur experts and invited speakers - Andrei Kirillov, director general of the labeling operator of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, and experts at the CBTC for tobacco and shoes.
At the online conference, they discussed what new tasks when working with goods faced retail with the introduction of mandatory labeling, how the scheme of interaction between retail enterprises and counterparties will change, what new requirements imposes mandatory labeling on retailers.
The event was supported by RBC PRO, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the public support organization for small and medium-sized enterprises “Support of Russia”, ROSEU association, shoes-report.ru. The partner of the conference was the online cinema ivi.
